Economic Development Corporation

The Center Economic Development Corporation is a 4A economic corporation as created and governed by the Texas Local Government Code.  This is the entity collects a 1/4 cent sales tax and is responsible for providing assistance to recruit businesses to Center and to help retain and expand existing businesses.

Members of the CEDC Board of Directors are:  John Snider, President; Mark Ivey, Vice-President, David Chadwick; Bill Lloyd and Jim Forbes.

Both Corporations are managed by Chad Nehring, City Manager.  Both of these boards meets on an as needed basis.
